Stephane is an Industrial Property Attorney with professional qualifications in patents, trademarks, and utility models. He is also qualified as representative before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Stéphane is a graduated engineer from ISEP (Institut Supérieur d’Electronique de Paris), and is also gratuated from the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI).
After a first experience in the R&D department of a worldwide leading company in the semiconductor industry based in Munich, Germany, he began his career in Industrial Property in 1993 as a patent engineer at a French-Italian leading automotive supplier, where he was responsible for the protection and defense of the innovative products and systems of the branch of business activities dedicated to electronics. In 1997, he joined a medium-size Industrial Property law firm located in Paris, where he developed his practice and acquired his professional qualifications. Then, he joined in 1999 one of the major French and European IP law firm, still in Paris, of which he became a partner in 2006 and promptly a member of the Executive Committee. As of 2010, he founded and managed a new regional branch office of the firm in Toulouse, which grew rapidly and acquired another local firm in 2012. In 2016, he opened the Toulouse branch office of our firm in association with Olivier Camus and Alexander Lebkiri.
During his particularly diverse career to date, Stéphane has acquired proven expertise in building portfolios of IP rights and in conducting patent litigations, not only on behalf of major international companies (mostly in the electronics, multimedia, automotive, aerospace, and defense and security sectors), but also by advising smaller companies, start-ups and laboratories. His strong experience in management and training adds to his global vision of the current key aspects of Intellectual Property.
Stéphane is a member of CNCPI (National Company of Industrial Property Attorneys) and of EPI (European Patent Institute), of the France’ Employers’ Union Medef 31, and of GIPI (club of innovative companies for industry).
