Vincenzo Ardizzone
After studying fundamental physics at the University of Palermo (Italy), he completed his training with a thesis at the Pierre Aigrain Laboratory (Ecole Normale Supérieure and Université Pierre et Marie Curie) in Paris.
His thesis (2010-2013) focused on the study of non-linear and quantum optical effects in semiconductor heterostructures. Between 2013 and 2015 he was a post-doctoral researcher at the Aimé Cotton Laboratory (Université Paris Sud and Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan). As a patent engineer, he has worked on projects in optics, microelectronics, acoustics, microscopy, sensors, thermodynamic devices, mechanics and telecommunications.
